Nobles County is located in southwest Minnesota. It is named for William H. Nobles, a member of the Territorial Legislature.
The seat and largest city is Worthington. It borders Murray, Cottonwood, Rock and Jackson Counties in Minnesota; as well as Osceola and Lyon Counties in Iowa.
Main highways include I-90, US-59, MN-60 and MN-91.
